Tactical Radar Systems
-
Highly precise theater radar developed by the Strategic Capabilities Office to support the Hypervelocity Gun Weapon System and other applications. The enhanced radar features are multi-mission and include: long-range, high-precision, 360-degree search and track, and advanced interceptor datalink capabilities.
Customer: Strategic Capabilities Office
-
Prototype radar to support the Hypervelocity Gun Weapon System and other applications. The PFCR was labeled “the most accurate radar ever built” by the Strategic Capabilities Office.

-
Precision Tracking System (PTS) to provide truth data for Coyote rocket-boosted interceptor with a kinetic payload developed for point-defense against Group 1 and Group 3 UAS threats. The C-RAM was developed for the Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System Product Management Office (PdM C-UAS) under the Program Executive Office: Missiles and Space (PEO M&S).
Customer: PEO M&S
-
Developed under the Army Technology Objective Integrated Demonstration (ATO-ID) program to serve as the fire control radar with the EAPS 50mm gun. The system detected incoming threats, cued the gun, determined appropriate aimpoint, commanded fire and communicated with the interceptor for course correction and detonation to engage the target.
Customer: U.S. Army’s Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC)
-
Developed a Precision Tracking System (PTS) architecture to fuse track and interceptor data from two radar panels into a palletized system for a U.S. Navy development. The PPS was designed to protect non-combatant logistics and surface vessels against drone and small boat threats.
Customer: U.S. Navy
-
The Aerial Threat Defeat (ATD) program developed a battery-powered mobile PTS system capable of searching, detecting, identifying, and tracking Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) threats. TA integrated the PTS system into U.S. fire control radars with a Republic of Korea (ROK)-developed countermeasure weapon system through interface with the Armaments Research Development Engineering Center (ARDEC) to develop a Precision Targeting Unit (PTU). TA evaluated performance capabilities of the integrated system at test sites outside the continental United States.
Customer: U.S. Army DEVCOM
-
Dual face PTS radar sensor that provides short-range weapon fire control for ship defense in littoral waters. The 180DRI searches and acquires targets over a 180-degree azimuth sector. As part of the program, TA demonstrated a technique to operate two adjacent interferometers without mutual interference.
Customer: U.S. Army DEVCOM
-
The originating program for the current PTS family of radars was the U.S. Army’s Crusader Self Propelled Howitzer program. The system tracked over 2000 projectiles during a two-year period and maintained alignment during shock and blast overpressure from more than 7000 rounds fired. Eight systems were manufactured and delivered.
Customer: U.S. Army
-
Integrated a PTS radar sensor onto a large tactical Stryker vehicle to support the development of High Energy Lasers (HEL) to defeat threats from enemy Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) with a low cost-per-shot advantage.
