Radar Hardware Systems Engineer

Technovative Applications is a small U.S. Defense Contractor in Brea, California. The company develops and produces fire control systems, radar interferometers, radar systems, and miniaturized communications transceivers for U.S. military applications.

We currently have an opening for a radar systems engineer.


Minimum Requirements

  • BS degree
  • 10-15 years of related experience
  • Basic understanding of radar theory
  • Demonstrated systems engineering capability including radar system architecture development, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and test
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint tools, schematic capture software and Solid Works.
  • Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance. (U.S. Citizenship required)

Tasks include technical analysis and knowledge of:

  • Radar system architectures
  • RF hardware solutions
  • Active electronic scan antennas
  • Digital waveform generation
  • Radar Signal processing techniques
  • Radar power, control systems
  • Encoders, Tilt Sensors, Inertial Measurement Systems
  • Familiar with AC, DC motors and motor controls
  • Position may require occasional travel.
  • Designing highly reliable systems for the military
